Women with Edge 2010

A wonderful day of ski instruction and fun!

We had another fantastic day for Ontario Division’s 2nd Annual Women with Edge. Although the long range forecast called for rain all day, Friday dawned at a balmy 5 degrees and cloudy but the rain held off.

22 CSP women, from across Ontario, benefitted from the fabulous ski instructions of Lisa Suutari, Lisa Worrell, Andy Ciotti and Miranda Sorenson. From flashing our edges to bouncing through the bumps, like silver medalist Jennifer Heil, we all left at the end of the day being better, more confident skiers.

Thank you to Osler Bluff for providing a great lunch and venue in which we could put our ski skills to the test.

Thank you to TomKat Designs for the high performance shirts with the Women with Edge 2010 crest.

Door prize donations were received from Ontario Division, Algonquin Zone, Kawartha Zone, Muskoka Zone and Western Zone as well as the Devil’s Elbow Patrol, Algonquin Outfitters in Huntsville, Bill Wright and Nancy Price made the finish to the day even better.

For those of you who weren’t able to make it, you missed a fabulous day. We hope to see you next year.
